BOLDLY GOING WHERE PLATES CANNOT

Working on a particularly challenging compaction jobsite? It might be time for an Ammann Add-On Compactor.

The add-ons fit on excavators, which use their reach to compact in hard-to-access places such as deep, narrow trenches and particularly steep grades. They also can provide more power than most other compaction machines for such applications.

At 160 kg, the APA 20/30 is the smallest Ammann Add-On Compactor. It works with mini excavators in the range of 2 tonnes to 5 tonnes, often in gardening and landscaping applications.

The APA 20/30 can be mounted in a few minutes and does not require fully hydraulic quick coupling devices. Only two hydraulic hoses are needed.

The APA 20/40 is second smallest Ammann Add-On Compactor. It provides a bit more weight and machine width than the APA 20/30, the smallest compactor.

The APA 20/40 works with mini excavators in the range of 2 tonnes to 5 tonnes, often in gardening and landscaping applications. The machine can be mounted in a few minutes and does not require fully hydraulic quick coupling devices. Only two hydraulic hoses are needed.

The APA 55/46, with an operating weight of 370 kg and machine width of 460 mm, is suited for medium-sized excavators with more than 5 tonnes of operating weight.

The APA 55/56, with an operating weight of 385 kg and machine width of 560 mm, is suited for medium-sized excavators with more than 5 tonnes of operating weight.

With its larger working width of 640 mm, the APA 55/64 is the perfect fit for urban jobsites and for applications in more sensitive surroundings.

The compactor is 370 kg, light given its width. It is suited for medium-sized excavators with more than 5 tonnes of operating weight.

The APA 72/74 is in the large class of Add-On Compactors from Ammann. It is built for 10-tonne to 40-tonne excavators – and for applications where a strong compaction performance is required.

The Add-On Compactor is able to compact layers as thick as 1 metre – substantially more than a vibratory plate. This helps save significant time and resources.

The APA 100/88 is heavy and powerful, with an operating weight of 1170 kg and centrifugal force of 110 kN.

The machine is in the large class of Add-On Compactors from Ammann. It is built for 10-tonne to 40-tonne excavators – and for applications where a strong compaction performance is required.

The Add-On Compactor is able to compact layers as thick as 1 metre – substantially more than a vibratory plate. This helps save significant time and resources.

The APA 75/74 2M is a productive tool that offers the operator the opportunity to change between two different working modes.

High amplitude allows the machine to work with the greatest compaction force and most efficiency on substructure work. Lower compaction force can be used when working in sensitive areas, such as over pipes or where a high vibration force could damage surrounding buildings.
